DevOps Engineer ( 250157 )Job SummaryWe are seeking a visionary and
hands-on principal engineer specializing in Infrastructure as Code
(IaC) to lead and innovate our infrastructure automation efforts.
As a pivotal member of our engineering leadership team, you will
not only define strategy but also actively contribute to the
design, implementation, and optimization of our IaC practices. Your
technical expertise will be crucial in transforming how we manage,
scale, and secure our infrastructure across the
organization.Responsibilities:
- Define and champion the long-term strategy for Infrastructure
as Code, aligning it with business objectives and technology
trends.
- Lead by example in hands-on implementation, ensuring
high-quality and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices in IaC, CI/CD
pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
- Architectural Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient
infrastructure solutions using modern IaC tools and frameworks
(e.g., Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Develop and maintain a robust CI/CD pipeline for infrastructure
changes, actively participating in automation and tooling.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of
cloud-based resources and on-premises infrastructure.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive operational efficiencies through hands-on automation and
standardization of infrastructure deployment and management
processes.
- Establish and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting
frameworks to ensure proactive identification and resolution of
infrastructure issues.
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements
within the IaC framework.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including
software engineers, architects, security specialists, and
operations teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to
non-technical stakeholders, promoting transparency and knowledge
sharing.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and
innovation within the engineering organization.Job
QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
or related field or relevant experience. Master's degree or PhD
preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering,
infrastructure automation, or related fields. Prior experience as a
Principal Engineer, Lead Engineer, or similar role preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
(e.g., Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub).
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as
Python, Ruby, or Go.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS,
Azure, Google Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration
technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Leadership Skills:
- Proven track record of leading large-scale infrastructure
projects with a hands-on approach from conception to delivery.
- Ability to influence and drive consensus across multiple
stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical
mindset.Soft Skills:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to envision and execute long-term
DevOps strategies that align with business and technical
goals.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Ability to lead and inspire a team of

- Minimum Salary: $166,950
- Maximum Salary: $241,500This information reflects the
anticipated base salary range for this position based on current
national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant
