SummaryThe Senior IT Project Manager has proven experience managing
complex application and system development projects in a Scrum
environment with the understanding that the approach varies based
on the project and circumstances. This position is responsible for
assembling the project team, assigning responsibilities, and
managing schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely
completion of assigned projects. This position requires
professional maturity and flexibility in approach to ensure that
projects are delivered on time, within budget, and that they meet
project goals and Consumer Cellular expectations as defined by the
documented scope, schedule, milestones and definition of done. The
Senior IT Project Manager must be a credible and effective
communicator, and successful in building relationships and rapport
across all levels of the organization. This role will interface
directly with internal resources, vendors, and partners, and
requires the management of resources and activities to ensure
project deliverables are met on time and within
budget.Responsibilities
- Manage IT software development and application support
projects.
- Work with Product Owners and the business to understand project
requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including documentation of
project scope, goals, benefits, deliverables, important milestones,
timelines, schedules, internal and external resources, project
dashboards, etc.
- Communicate the project status, requirements, and structure
across the Project Management team and all necessary departments
like Finance/Legal/HR/Marketing/Call Center.
- Manage daily progress of projects including risk assessment and
problem resolution.
- Guide and perform strategic analysis for the project and
proactively manage changes in project scope.
- Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time
completion.
- Assemble and coordinate project team members, assigning
individual responsibilities.
- Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project
communications.
- Lead issue identification, tracking, escalation and
resolution.
- Monitors risk events before becoming issues and potential
roadblocks.
- Work with Product Owners, Dev Managers, Scrum Masters, and task
owners to create and update status and task reporting.
- Schedule and facilitate recurring meetings to review and
monitor project tasks and status.
- Prepare and participate in quality review checkpoints.
- Track the build out of project testing and training needs.
- Manage various PMO and IT growth and improvement projects, as
assigned.Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or
equivalent education required.
- PMP preferred - or the ability to obtain within one year of
hire.
- Agile certification preferred - or ability to obtain within one
year of hire.
- Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
- 8+ years of IT project management experience in a highly
collaborative IT environment required, to include managing projects
with multiple product and business teams.
- High degree of efficiency with project management tools, such
as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
- Experience in IT release planning and coordination of release
activities required.
- Strong problem-resolution and analytical skills required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning, task assignments,
and learning new technologies required.
- Understanding of the value of commitments to delivery made by a
development team.
- Experience in Information Security, Telephony, and Call Center
a plus.
- Demonstrates accountability, monitoring and reporting on
project health and progress; manage what is measured.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to
communicate at all levels in the organization (with senior
management, with technical and business-oriented project staff,
with users and stakeholders).
- Ability to gain the confidence of the team as well as
Executive-level stakeholders by communicating regularly, keeping
commitments and delivering as promised.
- Ability to foster buy-in and cooperation through persuasion,
influence, and persistence.
- Strong analytical and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently, and as a member of a
team, such as BAs, Product Owners, Developers, Scrum Masters and SW
Testers.
- Able to negotiate with peers and superiors to ensure the work
gets done.
- Ability to easily multitask and prioritize.
- Well-organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving
issues on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, professional, flexible, comfortable with
ambiguity in a diverse organizational environment.

- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation,

- Minimum Salary: $111,300
- Maximum Salary: $161,700This information reflects the
anticipated base salary range for this position based on current
national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant
