We are looking for an Educational Remediation Specialist with a passion for students first, and instruction second, to join our team. An Educational Remediation Specialist will work with students to help improve general concept mastery. Our Remediation Specialists are trusted experts; therefore, have the autonomy to utilize instructional methods and curricula of their choosing.

Ideally, this instructor would be confident in language arts 1-8.
Job Type: Part-time or Full-Time
Salary: $30 - $35/hour

Responsibilities:
--- Work with small groups of students or 1-on-1 with students who are struggling to grasp grade-level language arts concepts
--- Collaborate with parents and teachers
--- You will not need to write lessons plans

Qualifications:
--- Available during some or most of the required times (2 pm-6 pm M - Th)
--- Able to commute to Sophos Speech and Academics
--- Personable and genuinely enjoys being around children
--- Able to listen well and respond to the data provided by teachers
--- Professional and reliable
